Suddenly the information provided by mousing over the tray icons has started appearing behind the task bar :( .  I can no longer read, for example, how much battery life is remaining without restoring the application.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

I’ve sometimes had this happen as well, but have found that it sorts itself out most of the time… Either that or a quick reboot!

the XP icon tray is a MESS!  i always have a hard time getting network icons to hide, even when specified as ALWAYS hide….and the icons in the notification applet never match the applications…i gave up trying to fix/figure it out….glad it’s all ok now.
