Update, update, update!

Sony has prescribed a new firmware update, version 2.1, for your protection.  :wink:  Hurry, turn on your PSPs, go to the updater. You need at least ~16MBs of free space on your Memory Stick to load the 2.1 updater on (which after used, you may delete the file forever and reclaim that space for something else, like ... music! Or movies! Or pictures of .... stuff!!).

NO! The sole purpose of this software update is to fix a hole in a library (libtiff) which, when exploited, also allowed you to downgrade your PSP software to 1.5, which in turn allows you to run all those homebrew apps!

Upgrade to 2.1 and you lose that ability with no benefits!
