Sony X1050 Walkman Software

Hello,

I recently purchased the new Sony X1050 Walkman. Now i am having trouble converting video files. It only allows me to convert into 320x240, though the maximum is 432x240.

But i have only been able to to convert videos into mpeg-4 (320x240) and h-264/avc (320x240) and the qualiy hasn’t been great. Not to mention that Sony did not provide a conversion tool of any sort.

Can anyone recommend a decent video onverting software?

Hello…Greetings from Portugal my friends…

Can you please tell me where can i find the driver for the brightness adjustment of my Vaio?

I also need other drivers for this laptop such as the video driver (i think it’s nvdia but i can’t find it anywhere) and the monitor driver.

Please help me…since i’ve reinstaled XP i don’t have mt laptop working properly.

Need help guys with my second hand notebook,its a PCG-C1XD that now has XP installed thus rendering the Motion Eye and Jog Dial useless.Im sure this is a driver issue but i have had no luck finding new ones.I do have the original 98 CE discs but i dont think they can help.Any help would be welcome.

Recovery disk sets

Any one having trouble with disk sets. I have found out how to change the model type in the bios for the PCG models. This will allow you to use different language recovery disks on your machine.
Let me know if this is okay to post and I will post the URL to it.

Just when I needed a new Anti-virus software, you pros recommended me Grisoft’s AVG, which is wonderful. Now I need a new Firewall, hopefully something that needs minimal configuration.

What would you recommend?

Cannot remain logged in to cookie sites…

I used a “cleaning program” a couple of weeks ago. This was intended to get rid of certain history items, etc.

Unfortunately, I find myself having to log in to every site the would normally place a cookie on my computer. That means Ebay, here, and so on. It works for about 5 minutes, but then I have to log in again.

Can anyone help?

Is there any difference between Microsoft’s US and UK Vista and Office?
I am thinking that I should get a mate to buy them in the US and post them to me. That way I would only pay 1/2 price.

I’ve been using TeraCopy for the last couple of weeks on my Windows XP systems and I have to say it’s one of the neatest utilities I’ve seen in a while. I’ve always felt the Windows “copy/move” dialog box as uninformative and in need of improvement.

TeraCopy improves copying/moving by adding an adjustable buffer to smooth out copies and speed them up in some cases with less disk thrashing. For instance on a system to USB external disk transfer, I was getting 16-20MB/s with the default 256KB buffer. Sliding it to several MB of buffer, the transfer becomes 25-26MB/s constant. That’s a huge improvement!

Better yet, if something fails, it actually shows you where the problem happened and allows you to attempt the operation again. It also can take the place of your regular dialog boxes so it’s seamless usage. You can also pause/resume transfers too!

Anyways, it’s highly recommended by me if you want smarter copying and moving of files. It’s free too so you can’t go wrong.

Require some assistance badly - Will an AX570G play BF2?

Hi Guys,

Tried to make it so that the title basically reflected by question and I didn’t make it too vague.

At the moment I’m looking at an affordable 17” Vaio (Yes, those three key words point to the AX series (I prefer them to the older, but yes, still nice A series).

I was wondering if the Vaio AX570G or 580G (can’t remember the difference) could play Battlefield 2? Is there anyone online with an AX that knows the answer, or knows of someone who could tell me?
