I’d like to see a TX model with a solid state flash drive with no moving parts like some of the UX models that are Japan only models. I guess laptops will eventually go this way. It will just take time for the cost of flash memory to drop further to become viable.

If I buy a sony mp3 player, can I download music from the internet from any computer, like one at an internet cafe, using explorer, or do I need to have special software on a particular computer?

So here I was looking at yesterday. What a fantastic deal! I had barely got over the size of the hard disk (perhaps he made it himself?) before I suddenly noticed the size of the screen. We’ve all had those occasions where we’ve wished the TR had a slightly larger screen, and the 106-inch beast he’s made for his TR would really be quite something.

As long as I could get it in my front door…

Yes these are a couple things that I would love to see….In the next year I would like to see atleast the specs of speed and graphics enter these small ultra portables….

I tell you they keep getting better and better every day…

But when they are small forum factor it seems to go at a snails crawl pace to upgrade on speed at just a 100mhz at a time..

That would be cool if sony produced a limited edition TR

Make only like 5000 to go to the United States…

Make it with a carbon fiber chasis….

Intergated Bluetooth..

Put a faster cpu in it then the T series…

Maybe a 1.2,1.3 or something….

A larger Harddrive…..maybe like a 60 or 80 gig…

Give the Large bt3 battery.

Come with a limted edition case that looks like it cost bank…..

and also through in some kewl accesories like wireless headphones, bt mouse, and so on.

just a wish…thats why I put it under wish list…

I would like to see a TR Series laptop that had a swivel screen that would open, turn, and fold down to make a small, light, tablet PC.

BETTER SPEAKERS! Please already. Can I say S*** without being bleeped here? They S***. And so does the microphone that records harddrive noise. That S***s. And where is that video out port? I wish I had a Sony like those GenXers in the commercials making grammy rock videos in thier bedrooms. I wish I had a right-hand shift key that I could see without putting on my glasses. I wish for world peace. I wish I had a job.

Next Generation TR/Picture Book

This thread I would like to express the changes I would like to see in the next generation TR.

1. I wouldn’t mind getting rid of the camera to add additional space for the screen. Make the case maybe the same size but cut down on the boders around the screen so maybe they could make it like 11.6 wide screen or something like that nature.

2. Go with a light weight maybe a carbon fiber.

3. Have a built in wireless tv turner.

Just anyone elses thoughts?
