Has anyone had experience with 4allmemory?  They look like the best deal on a 512MB RAM upgrade for the TR.  The current price is about $160, including shipping:
[/list:u] Kingston has the same for a few dollars more:
[/list:u] Much better than the $500 Sony wants!  So where did everyone else get their DIMMs from?

... 512MB RAM + 512MB RAM drive ...  :D
[/list:u]

I bought mine from http://www.computergiants.com…search for KSY-U101/512, I think it is about $127. Good service and fast shipping.

i got mine from kingston, too.  i really happy with it, although i must admit i got it right when i received my tr, so i don’t really know how much it’s helping.  maybe i’ll try to take it out one day and see the difference.

I got mine preinstalled with my TR3AP3 raspberry .
does this work on the TR3AP1 too?

I guess it would apply to all the TR’s with 512 mb RAM since they all have pretty much the same design if Im not mistaken.

Kingston wants $187 US for their 512MB! Seems dear to me.

www.computergiants.com

$126.50, free shipping, no tax.  Worked great in my TR3A.

Site did appear to be down earlier this morning though.

Wow, 126 bucks is cheap! They wanted over 200 USD in Japan. I got mine off eBay for 190 USD about 7 months ago. Sony’s prices are, of course, ridiculous!
