lol, i always refer to http://www.pricegrabber.com for getting the best prices for soemthing I need to buy. Like for eg, the PCGA-BP3T on sony’s website would cost you totally 380 or so with tax, etc while u can get that same battery for abt 282 on some other website. I would highly recommend going for the genuine stuff since I had a very bad experience buying a compatible battery for my toshiba laptop over eBay…the battery for the toshiba would last for barely an hr (it would go down to 50% and then immediately goto 3% and shutdown the comp) so i bought a new one on ebay for 64 bucks…that one lasted for just 10 mins :cry:

had a hard time getting my money back from the crooks that too without the shipping expenses!!

so i guess they dont have batteries for the tr’s.

I’m actually living in UK, and by chance now in New York for a business trip…so entirely not sure at all where to shop one. I’m wondering other than online store, do you know are there any stores like CompUSA or Best Buy that sell TR batteries?  :?:

when doing those kind of searches on pricegrabber best buy, compusa never showed up. I also did do a search on bestbuy.com and compusa.com for the 2 models of the batteries i.e. pcgabp2t and pcgabp3t but no results were shown so i guess they dont stock it.

ebay is loaded with generic ones, I am going to order one and check it out…  they are only like 140$!
