Fool that I am, I bought a 1gig memory upgrade for my X505, and then read it’s a soldering job…

I fancy a peek inside to see if it’s doable - does anyone know what size tri-wing it takes to open the machine up?

I’m in the UK, and this site seems to have them down to size 0, which I have a suspicion may be what I need:

I think its the 00 size. 

Ebay has a ton of these tools for sale for a couple GBP.

To my knowledge, no one has successfully upgraded the memory yet. If you succeed, please let us know.

Is that the same size as the gameboy/wii ones then?

Any success with the soldering job ...  ? Do it, you will be more than a trend setter I might call you an idol then...the savior ...(I could keep on going, but… will rather not, for obvious reasons) Good luck with it anyway!
