I bought Engenius EMP 8602 plus S miniPCI card (atheros chipset AR5006XR). I installed it in my laptop.

The card is very much sensitive (-97dBm) and powerfull (600mW)than the original Intel 2200BG (30mW), but I have a little problem :

The physical switch of my laptop (Tr3a) doesn’t work. This switch worked very well with the genuine card Intel 2200bg and now with Engenius it doesn’t work. The wifi connection is permanent and I can’t power it off with the switch and the green led is always extinguished.

I put my old Intel 2200 back in just to verify that I didn’t break it during the upgrade, and it worked again.

I used the wireless client utility provided by engenius which includes a screen button to disable the wireless radio. It works well: one right click with the touchpad and the connection is power off, but the switch always don’t work

Can you give me some informations to fix this problem ?
