Hello, Just recently aquired 2 TZ series laptops, and both f them seem to have had the batttery come loose. I checked and noticed that the retaining clip that holds the battery to the laptops chassis has sapped. the problem happened to both computers. AS a remedy i have resorted to using electical tape to keep the battery secure to the chassis. Has anyone experienced this? thanks

Almost the same issues as you. On my TZ it is the hook on the battery which is broken

Aside from electrical tape I was able to add a screw on the hole on the left side of th battery. It works only thing is that its not as quick to remove the battery

Yeah I have the same problem with my TZ195N/XC.  I did the same thing but put a layered scotch tape on the corner of the removable battery and voila!  Al feels solid.
