I’m in the market for a wireless G router for casual surfing (no gaming).
anyone have any info on where I can get the best info on these?

Linksys make very good routers with very good out of-the-box options, WRT54G or WRT54GL are recommended.

For more advanced users, you may also upgrade the firmware to an open-source Linux one to unlock the full potential of that router.
