Hey Everyone

I dunno if anyone is interested but i am selling my Sony Vaio TR3A. I have had this for almost 3 years and never had any problems with it and it is in very good condition. The camera still works perfectly. The battery has only ever been used 4 times, so it has only ever been charged 4 times, the reason for this is cos i ran it through the mains at home. It has an official Sony recovery DVD and a slip case. I am also including a Sony DRX-800UL DVD-RW with it, which has only ever been used once.

You may get £500 for it but it not being UK spec / no Bluetooth & US keyboard might put some off.. from my personal point of view, (if I was looking for one), your postage charges would really put me off

The reason the postage is high is cos of the crazy postage charges and with the external DVD-RW it makes it really heavy. Well if it sells it sells, if it doesn’t then, doh! But i may lower the price a bit if it doesn’t.

I agree good TR’s are worth more than that imo, but market forces dictate. Most buyers know they can get a brand new laptop for around £400 now, (ok so we know it will be a cheap and nasty one, and not compact like a TR but…..)

As for postage RMSD is £19.45 for upto 10kg next day guaranteed with £500 ins included.. I’d ditch the DVDRW unit if it really is that heavy to take the total over 10kg, I’d guess most people wont want it anyway..

Yeah i agree you can get very cheap laptops from even cheaper then £400 now. But as you said they won’t be as compact as the TR3.

If it doesn’t sell then i will lower the postage charges and try again. But if it doesn’t sell then i don’t really mind, i will be more then happy to keep on using it and the TZ90 will be put on hold for the time being.
