Hi everyone,

I just bought a new laptop in Japan and bought win xp pro too separately since I got everything in Japanese.(sony vgn-52b)

Backed up all drivers and kept the 5 GB back up partition.
After reinstalling I put back all drivers and everything is working BUT:

I need all the software in English, where the hell can I get it.
I have the Japanese version which is no use to me.

Software needed is:
DO VAIO
Click To DVD
Picture Gear Studio
Sonic Stage CP
Vaio Media
HD Backup
Vaio Launcher

I hope that’s all.
The most important one is DO Vaio since I am unable to use the tv function without it.

Yes I know, I should have checked it before, the shop in Japan does not support anything but Japanese which really sucks, even my remote is in Japanese but I dont mind.

I’m from Japan, and i have the same notebook model vgn-ft52b in English.

I install the drivers, but the sound drivers it’s not OK, I wait the softwares in English too.

How you install the audio drivers, where I find it.

When I find the softwares in inglish, I send the link to you.

i managed to get most of the software need, downloaded them wit emule.
but i realy dont need all the fancy windows taking up all the memory so i decided not to install everything.

but some of the software simbly is not out in english yet.

all the drivers are in a driectory in the c driver including the sound drivers.

I find the install drivers in the directory VAIO/driver/audio, but when install, show me the message ” The hardware is not present “.

Driver Sigmatel C-Major Audio.

How you install the driver???

Your laptop model has no compatible model in other area so it is difficult to find the software for it in English.

The audio model of my notebook is SigmaTel C-major Audio.
