A word of advice.

Sell ur laptop on the UK based ebay. Recently a TR5 was sold for about 1200 quid ( more than 2000 $ ).

The UK always seems to get huge prices for laptops especially subnotebooks. My friend in Exeter (UK) juts about buys a laptop here in Oz everytime she comes home for a holiday as they are so much cheaper (imagine if she ever got loose in Japan! smile)

Since they are so much dearer new they tend to get great prices compared to the US for used.

I want to sell my tr5 on ebay uk but I live in the US and i’m worried the buyer will get slapped with huge customs/duties taxes…any advice on how to avoid this or go about selling on ebay uK?

I dont know about the UK and US but theres no tax to be payed on USED stuff over here (Germany).

However. 800 is a good price in my opinion. But keep in my:

Yesterday I saw someone selling a TR on Ebay for 1500 USD!!!
Great deal? The seller made the deal of his life.
He made clear that the screen is damaged and need to be replaced.
Dont know how he managed to sell for that price smile
