Not sure if this info is true, but I ran across this article stating the electric shock problem. Read the comments too…some are interesting. :wink:

I get electric shock every time I go out from my car and close the door, zap!
But never from my laptops. Weird though, I’ve tried unplugging and plugging back the AC adapter from a displayed model in CompUSA last night, (ie TX) and the SZ I’ve tried it on Fry’s removing and pluging the plug, coz I was testing if the Vaio Power Management is working, cuz I was saying man SZ boot slow! My T250P boots like 1min. So anyway WEIRD

I have this problem with my SZ230P. I could feel the electricity on my wrist and I could hear noise when I use a headphone.

I have reported to Sony and got the new power adapter with ground shipped by UPS. Guess what! It has solved the problem.
