I just translated with my poor english skill so just read it

1. Screen is FANTASTIC, much looks brighter, sharper and clearer than S series
Non like other regular SZ model,  mine was OWNER-MADE and the screen has the same shape with TX
(Never tried TX so I dont really know what that means)

2. Noise, its much quieter than S and cant be COMPARABLE! but still noiser than TX obviously

3. Geforce 7400, the graphic is Amazing yet very fast and powerful
test with a game called “FEAR” and it worked like a charm with no problem

4. Heat, I couldn’t really feel heat from the palm-rest area and so as keyboard area
I played “FEAR” for 3 hrs straight but still warm AMAZING!

5. Battery life, this is the best part of this Laptop I think, theres Stamina and Speed mode
Once its set to Stamina mode, the SZ will use internal graphic card(?) not
Geforce which will give you more than 4 hrs of battery life
*The system reboot required every-time you change setting*

6. Weight, dont bother to measure it but its definitely lighter than S

7. Interface, finally USB cover is gone!(may be its just me who hated it)
Theres a memory Stick Pro/Duo Slot on the left side and another slot located on its right side
You can insert a SD card with a converter (?)

8. Keyboard is more bigger and convenient for use compare to S but I found S keyboard has a better feeling

*The reviewed model was Centrino DUO 1.66 which is slower than Sonoma 2.13 but I highly doubt it still beats in multi-tasking*

I tried out a SZ at Bestbuy and did not like the keyboard. I cannot quite describe it, but it just wasn’t as comfortable to use compared to the notebooks around it costing half as much, which is pretty sad.  :(
I’m not sure if I’d find it a deal breaker or not. It was usable, but definately not as good as most other keyboards I’ve used.

Otherwise, it was quite nice, especially with the screen.  smile

The SZ does not have the same shape screen as the TX. The SZ is 16:10 (like all widescreen notebooks) the TX has a 16x9 widescreen (the same format as widescreen HDTV’s).
