I would like to have your opinion about the   Logitech® Cordless Desktop® MXâ„¢ 5000 Laser Bluetooth .
Does anybody onw it? I have heard it s the best on the market right now, do you confirm? It comes with the amaizing MX1000.

What about the BT connection, does it work fine? I comes with a BT usb key, do i need to plug it even if my TR is already equiped with BT?

Well any piece of advice of info is welcome before spending 150€ for a keyboard and mouse

I dont have this but just by looking it seems it needs the usb BT 2.0 and TR’s is 1.0 or 1.1 or 1.2 cant remember meh so u would need to use usb and i wouldn’t spend 150 on a mouse and keyboard but thats just me id rather get something cooler looking wired one or cheaper wireless better looking one but if it looks good to u go for it but id rather not use the usb thing and rather have older wireless keyboard and bluetooth mouse that works with TR’s built in BT

no firmer or driver update available for the TR’s BT?

Im not sure since if u manually did maybe u can use euros drivers but that wont do much for u anyway the hardware for the keyboard and mouse is 2.0 bluetooth and TR is 1.1 i just checked so like i said u have to use usb thing if u buy this thing. Just look for bluetooth that doesn’t say bluetooth II or 2.0 then it should do u well if u dont want to use usb thing!

P.S. ill try to look for some if i dont reply that means i couldn’t find any in stock or i didn’t have time

And main problem to find one is that they have to be old to find one new since 2.0 is only backward compatible up to 1.2 sadly TR’s is 1.1 but they are out there u have to look hard im trying as well lol!

it works on TR2’s bluetooh;i have tried it.My friend gave me to test this thing out. I end up prefer my bluetooth apple keyboard. This thing is too big IMO. and I do really need those multimedia buttons :wink:

think that’s pretty much the case with most keyboard mouse type BT items. You don’t need the speed so the 2.0 is backward compatible FAIK.

I’ve been after a Dinovo for ever and wouldn’t mind paying $150 for it. Never could justify the $400 in the shops but was everywhere on the net at the same time for half the price. might pay to look around and get it cheaper.

Does the DiNovo BT cost 400 $ in Australia?
