I just bought a very cheap NOKIA HS-11W bluetooth from Best Buy today and it paired up within a few seconds and I was able to hear and the mic worked!! without installing any other drivers or anything.  I thought for sure I would have to install some different drivers for the mic/headphone to work at the same time.  Man this setup is a must have!

Absolutely love this unit.  My voice doesn’t sound anywhere as good as a real phone but ppl can make out what I’m saying so I can’t compalin :D Volumn is very loud and distance is great.

Just thought I would share this good news with the rest of the community.  Skype here I come!  Maybe down the road I’ll get a BT 2.0 headset but only saw 1 so far.

[quote author=“Anonymous”]Does you TX have a Bluetooth Stack or are you using the default WIN XP software?

I’m not sure but my Bluetooth Settings says Version 3.03.13 RC2 Build20050621 TOSHIBA Corp.

So I’m guessing it’s already installed on the TX.

[quote author=“Anonymous”]That’s great news. What did the headset cost? How far can you get away from the TX?

I can walk away about 25 feet before the signal starts crackling up.

One thing I wished the TX had on their instant AV Mode was ability to connect to a Bluetooth headset.  This would be awesome to watch/listen to movies or MP3’s using a bluetooth headset.  I see the bluetooth is activated in AV Mode by default but I’m still try to get the audio to work over my bluetooth headset.
