I purchased an S270P back in November of last year and have recently noticed a blemish in the screen. Its only noticable if you are standing above the comp looking down at the sreen. It appears as a white area on the screen, its football shaped and is about as wide as a dime. It doesn’t affect the use of the machine at all, but I did spend good money on my comp. When I purchased it I also got the 2 years accidental damage replacement warranty on it. Would something like this be covered under that, would it even be worth sending back to sony for them to fix?

Also lately my battery life is just not very good any more, would this be covered in the warranty or is it time to look for a replacement?

Thanks for any help,
Darek

Yes, call Sony about it. I believe it’s covered under the warranty as it’s a flaw in the screen. Sony replaced my screen the a while back when I complained of a similar problem. The San Diego notebook repair facility is pretty good and the turnaround time is pretty fast assuming they have the part in stock.
