Hihi, i have a Vaio S3HP which is similiar to the S360-80 sold in the US.
The optical drive inside does only support writing speeds upto 2.4x or 2x depending what writing format u use. Now i want to swap the drive to some faster one. 4x or 8x, duallayer would be nice, but not a must. Which drives can i use? I also need to put the bezel from the current drive on the new one. Can this be done with any drive? I dont really want to order a drive from Sony because it will be too expensive.
Has anyone done this here? At the moment i have a Mashita UJ-822Da inside.

Regards,
Martin
