for $1250, i m going to office depot tomorrow.  well, since i live in cali, it will be about $ 1500 after rebate and sales tax from $2000 price.

Sounds to good to be true. Can all those rebate coupons be used for the same purchase?

If that is true…I think everyone on this forum that doesn’t have an S…should go purchace one….That is very cheap…

Thought about getting an S, but since T came out, I would rather aim for the T than the S. However, there’s no way I can pass up a chance to own an X505, so I’d have to say neither an S or a T.  :twisted:

Another american touche to all the british deals !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t need another computer, this TR3 is all I need, but I do have friends that could take advantage of such a deal. There is an Office Depot a block from where I live, so I’ll stop by today and try to learn more.

I see some of the rebate coupons require purchase by November 6th. That leave only two days to take advantage of them.

Ok, I went to my local Office Depot and they didn’t have the Sony VAIO VGN-S260P in stock. I did ask about the using so many rebate coupons for a single purchase. I was referred to the store manager you said yes you can use multiple rebate coupons for the same purchase, as long as none of the coupons is the exact same. With that said I emailed the info to my friends who may be interested in a new notebook. One is going to make the purchase within the two remaining days left to use all four rebate coupons.

I am excited for you getting your new x505…Please let us know how it turns out….Did you sell your TR yet?

I would love to…But, I am going to hold out right now…I am saving up for a house….But, It seems like a great deal…

I’ve played with the S and I liked it very much….I actually was going to upgrade to that model before I relized that I could get a T….

I am just too much of a fan of the sub-notebooks…and anything above 10.6” I am not too interested….also with the x505’s I don’t like not having a internal optical drive, bluetooth, memory stick port….

I compared them side by side and the T was just a little wider…I aslo love widescreens…   I love the realestate it gives…

Also on my new T it feels like the screen is bigger than the TR….It must be sometype of Mirage…

Most of the rebates say it needs to be purchased after 11/7…...
