Yes these are a couple things that I would love to see….In the next year I would like to see atleast the specs of speed and graphics enter these small ultra portables….

I tell you they keep getting better and better every day…

But when they are small forum factor it seems to go at a snails crawl pace to upgrade on speed at just a 100mhz at a time.. rolleyes

It’s probably not going to happen.

At best, you’ll probably get Intel’s latest integrated graphics chipset that’s supposedly DirectX 9 capable. Of course, it all depends on what the market is doing. If a lot of other companies start using these other chips then it might happen. Definitely not X800 though…more like X600 or 700. At any rate, the ATI Mobile Radeon 9800 is based on the X800 chipset.

Well, I didn’t expect it to happen now rolleyes  LOL

I am just trying to say I can’t wait for our sub-notebooks hardware to catch up with the latest software….

Then we can play the newest games in style.. :wink:

It will be quite some time before we see graphics hardware like that in sub-notebooks. It would be amazing though if it were possible to squeeze all that hardware in a sub-notebook (I wonder what the battery life would be LOL )

sooner or later the new subnotebooks will be with pciE slots and since ATI already have X800 Mobility ... I can see it happaning…. Not to the exnted of a desktop but somwhere in the 75% of the power
