Or a picture of PeeWee Herman screaming…..

Im about to try to install it with the updated drivers tomorow night.  Hopefully I can manage it to work.  I started playing the game on my desktop and its sooo fun and addictive. It would be the perfect game on the road to kill time.

Be careful with updated intel drivers (backup your system if you can) as I read on here that some version stopped the TR displaying its native resolution and/or stopped the screen toggle button working (can’t remember now). Just a precaution.

It’s official… like a referee with a whistle!

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic works on my TR3A!  Its playable alebeit the frames are pretty slow but its an rpg so its fully playable.  Im like an hour into it and i havent noticed any menu or blocking prob that intel was talking about either so it runs good.

After I installed the latest Intel graphic driver and disabled that open gl “flip” thing everything was fine.  Updated KOTOR and played…

So TR2 and 3 can both run it!

good news!

KOTR 2 works on my T250P.  Just updated it to the latest Intel drivers.
Right now it’s version 14.19.50 dated 2/8/2006.

Finally I can finish what I’ve started last year.

By the way it’s 20 bucks at Fry’s Electronics right now.

And also, anyone heard if there’s going to be a part 3?

:D

I’d settle for them fixing part 2. Obsideon ran out of time on it and LucasArts needed the title to launch, so it did. And boy does it show. That’s why there’s no resolution to the HK-50 subplot, why Korriban is so boring and cut-and-paste from the first game and why the intricately woven plot falls apart right at the end.

Yeah true on what happened to Korriban which I thought it’s a Sith planet, but then it seems desolate.. that’s where I stopeed when I’m going Indian & Jones on the sith’s tombs.. hehe.. then I got my T250P.. sux but now I can continue..

The only gripe is I can’t use my previous saved games.  The game doesn’t display and work right.. The only way it’ll work is to restart a new game.. which kinda sux coz I know I have a long way to go again…

From what I understand, Korriban wasn’t even supposed to be in the game originally. Supposedly there was some sort of machine planet or factory creating the HK-50 units on Telos. There are still a lot of assets on the actual game CD that were to be used in that subplot, including a sequence where HK-47 tortures an HK-50 and a torture droid .

For the most part they completely ruined HK-47’s humor value. When you do play dark side, do yourself a favor and try to get influence with him, then ask him about his former master’s crewmates.  It almost makes up for the rest of his dialog being so dull and predictable.

I haven’t finished the Light side yet.  After that I’ll be worst than Revan.. hehe..

Cool to know, I’ll look that one up on my cd.. That’ll be a fun commercial for me when I’m tired doing the story.. hehe..  Any recommendations of other Star Wars games that’ll run on 855GME of T250’s?  And also I’ve tried Prince of Persia, Warrior’s Within, man the only thing the sound wont work on that one.. so I guess I’ll wait until a patch is out..  that works ok on T250 but no Sound, it produces a sound driver being used by other software..
