I have a USB video capture device (video only). It would be great to record audio as well. How is everyone doing this with the TR? Does the headphone double as a line-in jack? (Or are you suppose to use the microphone)

Thanks!

well, the mic jack is a line-in jack if ya got software that agrees with that statement.  i record music that way from a stereo system that i have that has a turntable.  i even use the sony software that came with the box to do it.  but getting sound and video synced is something the software must do, so did your device come with some sorta recording manager?  if not, ya can always use adobe premiere to lay down the audio track, but gosh, what a hassle. tell us which device you have and let us know how it’s working for ya!
