Ok, maybe I am the only one who watches DVD’s when going to bed but the status LED’s at the front are really bright, especially the bluetooth one. If it were possible to turn them off, or even a software control brightness in powerpanel that would be amazing.

Another thing is that I wish the brightness could go down even more, I know that as it is lit by a floruesent lamp there is a minimum brightness it can go to but sometimes it is actually too bright in a very dark room

Drachen, you kill me…that is pretty effective though.  LOL

I really don’t think there is any software available to shut off any of those lights so yeah, you’ll have to come up with some sort of trick to just cover them up.

You could probably take care of the bluetooth by setting the wireless lan switch to the off position.

My non-obvious solution would be to leave a bedside lamp on.  It makes the blacks on the screen look pitch black and there wouldn’t be as much glare from the LEDs.  Just so long as there’s no glare from the bedside lamp.

Otherwise I don’t think screens like this are really suited to very dark rooms.  :|

I wasn’t really expecting a solution, just surgesting something which could make the TR4 very very cool.
