I am really wanting one of these machines. I have one major concern (2 if you count money) will this computer run a presentation (PowerPoint type) with DVD quality video clips, and the like?
It seems to me that this is one of the primary markets for the tr2 - is this right?
Has anyone else noticed choppiness of video when using an extermal moniter, as I read in another post?
Any input would be helpful to me.

  My problem is that I like this machine so much I may ignore the truth of the matter.

The TR can definitely be used in a presentation setting when you’re using a projector that accepts a VGA input (which most do). Most models offer 800x600 support with some offering 1024x768 support as well. In either case, the TR has enough performance to run DVD quality clips. Your best bet would be to run the external monitor as the primary monitor when doing presentations. However it’s not completely necessary as I have run DivX videos on an external monitor (not set as primary) and had no problems at all.
