Are all X505 (PCG-X505/P, X505/CP, X505/SP, X505/ZP, etc) made in japan??

Hi UncleO -

The entire X505 product line was assembled in Japan.

Search out the X505 developers story on this forum.  It’s an interesting read.

Computers, by their nature, are international products, with components sourced from all over the globe.  The CPU may have been manufactured by Intel in Malaysia (among 15 worldwide plants).  The keyboard was manufactured in China.
