silicon pop culture!

Hi I have a Sony Vaio PCG-TR1MP with what I think is a dead hard drive. The BIOS tells me that I have a hatachi-DK13FA-30D-(PM) installed at the moment.

I am a bit of a newbie so sorry if I’m stating the obvious any way I need a replacement can anybody help. I’m based in the uk.

there are several topics on this.  use the search option.  but make sure you replace your hd with the hitachi one.  that way you don’t end up with one that doesn’t fit properly
