Does anyone know a way to get pdf copies of service manuals for Sony laptops?

Good news, bad news.

I found a place on eBay to buy the T160P manual

but the manual does not have a step by step procedure for teardown which is what I wanted. It does have schematics of all assemblies so at least you can see where all the hidden screws are.

you need to try http://www.sonyrecovery.co.uk for the manual that shows you how to tear down ( as you put it ) the machine.
