Power jack cracking and braking…

Hi there.

Ive just discovered that my power jack has got a crack along the yellow housing.

Guess it wont last for longer so Im asking you guys for the part number of the original power jack.

Thank you guys in advance…

(Ive been searching on the forum for a while but didnt find
any threads matching my problem)

Anybody?

It hast become even worse now. Cant touch my tr when loading… anyelsesway it would loose conection…

please I really need the part number.

When asking the dealer arround he told me to just pick one out of the may he has, that one that suits. Since I need my laptop for everyday use I cant open, desolder the jack, look over at the dealer by chance… it would take me maybe weeks…

Dont you have a part number? A picture would do even better?

I have the exact same problem and was about to toss the machine - all for a $20 part!!! I see where to order the part, and I’m not too afraid of taking things apart, but can anyone tell me what needs to be taken apart to replace the DC jack (mine’s cracked and broken just as is described here).
