So basically my TR1 all of a sudden has a very bright screen. It looks almost whited out, and can only be seen at all if you look at it at a 45 degree angle.

I plugged the vga out into a monitor, and it looks perfect so it doesn’t seem to be the video card.

It isn’t the brightness settings, or the contrast settings… I’m guessing something got loose up on the lcd panel itself, or a wire worn out, but I’m not sure, so…

Anyone know what might be causing this? Or how to take apart the screen, and where to order a replacement cord between the screen and motherboard?

Thanks a ton,
jf

Did you really mean its white? If it was dark I would have said that the inverter (background light) is dead and needs replacement.
