Help, can’t get my Sony PCG-TR3AP’s internal microphone to WORK…..........HELP HELP HELP

so i just bought a this laptop used

this laptop has a built in microphone right ?

how do i get it to work, i installed all the video drivers and audio drivers

is there a special program i need to install in order to get the mic to work ?

If anyone knows what the problem is or how i can solve this, please let me know asap

If you haven’t resolved this yet it may sound obvious but if you’ve not tried it go into the audio properties, (should be an icon in the task bar or via the control panel) and check that the mic is enabled, the mute box is not ticked and the volume slider for it is not set too low..
