Right, whilst doing a clen install of windows i managed to drop a heavy file on the front left corner of my tr5mp , just to the left of the touchpad.
The tr5 promptly started buzzing quite loudly and i a panic i unplugged the power cable (no battery in then).
when i tried to reboot the buzzing starts again, i get the windows screen, then the screen goes blank with the mouse icon in the middle but not much else happens.
so, not knowing much about this, would anyone know if ive knackered my fan, hdd or both?
thanks

The fan is roughly under the W,E,S,D keys and doesn’t usually run all the time unless you set it to..

Directly under the area left of the touch pad is a circuit board for touch pad, pad keys and Bluetooth, the hard drive is under this and a flat area of motherboard under that. it’s all rather packed in..

looks like hdd may have been damaged, (possibly dented slightly)
