A friend of mine recently received her mom’s pcg-tr5tp. She reformatted and is having trouble finding any drivers for the model at all. Can she use recovery discs from any TR model? I think the laptop is from Taiwan, and there as almost no info with google search, any help is greatly appreciated.

hi i am afraid each sony tr recovery disk set is model specific - you can only use the disk for that particular model
