My TR3A keeps rebooting after 1 minute of being up, as if the power is being cut-off when something heats up. The battery charging light is blinking but doesn’t seem to get charged. The CPU fan won’t run when booting/ after booting (watching while keyboard is taken off).

Anybody got a motherboard or know what I should be checking for?

Hey Guys, about a month ago I spilled water on my TR1MP, and ended up buying one second hand with a cracked screen and made a working one out of the two. Well, here are the working parts that were left over. There are a lot of the main parts along with loads of random little bits so rather than list them all here are the photos:

http://s57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/tombance/TR1MP Parts/

The keyboard is worth mentioning because it is in really good, clean condition and is not shiney at all. I really dont know what a lot of this stuff is worth so please make me reasonable offers and I will check around to see if theyre fair and then let you know. Also bear in mind that I am based in the UK and although Im willing to ship to the US you will have to pay the postage cost and make up for the pretty poor exchange rate at the moment :(.

Please either PM me or email me at “tombance at gmail dot com” with offers.

Thanks for looking!

Edit: The battery is official Sony and has 81 charge cycles and 38.13Wh full charge capacity.

I can find Samsung 16 GB (fully backward compatible with Toshiba HD) for about ~US$70, however the price to ship it here is ~US$30 for one HD as the seller is overseas, so total would be about ~US$100 shipped for one drive.

Buying a few of those would cut the shipping cost down as I asked about s/h for 2 drives and it costs the same as s/h for 1 drive. I might be able to get a cheaper price per drive if I buy many more. So with group buy, it can be at least $80 shipped to your door, a save of at least US$20.

I will need to know how many are interested so I can get a number and get an exact quote. Just wondering if any of you is interested.

Thanks.

I’m considering selling my TR.

The bad:
Battery doesn’t hold a charge
Camera dead - Nevermind, it works! see below

The good:
Everything else

The laptop is in very good cosmetic shape. There is some wear and tear on the lid. Nothing major. No cracks. The battery doesn’t last longer than 30 minutes at this point. It never effected me because I leave the computer on my nightstand plugged in 24/7 these days. It amazes me that when I DO take the computer out in public I STILL get compliments about it! Every single time!

I have the original box, ac supply, etc. Reply to this thread if interested!

I’m a verified paypal seller and have 100% positive feedback on ebay. And check my join date on this site
